Truck Stop Events was established in 2005 by Barry Pawelek, a Vietnam veteran who developed a passion for truck driving after experiencing a ride in a friend's 1982 Kenworth cabover. As an over-the-road driver, he noticed the unhealthy habits prevalent among many drivers in the industry. With a degree in recreation and as a Marine Corps veteran, he wondered if he could create a program to provide drivers with valuable information to improve their health. He decided to address this by creating an informational trifold. To fund this program, he discovered sponsors could advertise their names on these tri-folds and support the program. This initiative later evolved into the Truck Drivers Health non-profit organization we know today.
Your Support is always needed, and it will get your company information in front of the driver in the health and wellness tri-folds that we hand out to the drivers every day—over 2,500 per week. They take that trifold back to their truck. Why? The game clues and your company information is printed inside. How does it help your company?
Over 150 truck and car shows are held throughout the USA each year. By sponsoring one of our Health and wellness programs, you have the opportunity to select the shows that will best benefit your marketing program. This can result in thousands of dollars in savings for your marketing budget this year.
"Every truck driver needs to refuel, grab a meal, or find a place to rest. That's why we offer complimentary program tri-folds during these essential stops. Can your marketing program or magazine provide the same level of targeted outreach and practical support?"
Getting in front of the drivers and company personnel you need to see at any company is important. We can help you achieve that with our advertising lunch program.
"It's simple:
Can your advertising program be displayed for 8 to 10 hours on a 16-ft bridge as hundreds of cars and trucks pass under it? Our programs can and did! Everywhere this trailer goes, potential customers see your information."
