It's all in the mind so

We consciously use less than 5% of our brains, often guided by forces outside our awareness. Zen meditation can help us gain more control over our minds. Research shows that the mind can mimic the effects of many medications, as we can access more of our mental potential. This is similar to the placebo effect, where the mind can influence physical reality. As you become more mindful through meditation, your unconscious mind becomes more conscious, akin to the process in psychotherapy. Traditional psychotherapy has limited effectiveness, and psychiatric medications often come with many side effects. In contrast, meditation is 100% effective, free, and natural. Through meditation, you can become your therapist and master.

Achy breaky back pain

Most people have low back pain now and then. Low back pain can be short-lasting (acute or sub-acute) or long-lasting (chronic). Chronic pain lasts after your body has mostly healed from an injury (usually 3 months or longer). Chronic low back pain can affect all parts of your life. It may make it hard for you to do physical activity, make you more stressed, or make it difficult for you to sleep or rest. Low back pain is affected not only by physical things but also by what you think, feel, and do when you are hurting. In many cases, low back pain isn’t serious, and self-care can help. Sometimes, it can be a sign of a bigger problem. Call your healthcare provider if your pain returns often or gets worse over time.
